Raccoons can harm your lawn when they search for insects to eat in the soil. White grubs are a popular food source. When a significant population of grubs are present, raccoons will root up the turf searching for them. They can cause more damage than what is caused by the actual grubs eating at the roots!

It is important to minimize the presence of grubs by keeping the lawn healthy and by using proper insect and grub controls.

If your lawn looks like the one below, you may have a visiting raccoon! We can help you treat your lawn so there are no insects for raccoons to search for on your lawn; contact us for more information.
